Does anyone know of any good summer programs for high school grads going on to college? I'm on a gap year in Taiwan and I'm looking for something cheap/free/or paid to do this summer that I can apply for online. Living in the Chicago area (we'll not till June, but will be), but open to anything anywhere. Tons of interests including economics, engineering, travel, art, sports (maybe a summer camp counselor?) Any suggestions are awesome.

Me too. Interested in summer 2012 program for math/science preferably. Will already be admitted to college but need something worthwhile to do in summer after HS/before college. Ideas?

This is from last year, but I can’t find one for 2012 - probably not up yet. My son attended our state’s governor’s school, Duke TIP and RSI, and enjoyed NYSC the most. Two from each state and a few from several foreign countries.
