Summer Programs for high school juniors

What summer programs at Caltech are there for current high school juniors?

last year Caltech hosted part of RSI. In 2005 they won't, I believe because of housing problems. But I expect it back in 2006 or 2007 (too late for you, but still).

Caltech used to run SSP (Summer Science Program), although it has now been taken over by SSP alums (many of who are also Caltech alums). It is an astonomy program, so it is held at 2 locations with observatories, not at Caltech in Pasadena.

Darn, I just missed it. I was looking into RSI last year, but I think it was only for juniors (of course, I was a sophomore at the time). I'll look into SSP.

Anything else?

If you're interested in programs at other locations, here's a couple useful links:

A research program at Texas Tech
A list of life-science programs

Thanks, but I'm most interested in Caltech because I live nearby. Without RSI this year, is Caltech doing anything in the summer instead?

I doubt if they are doing anything residential, since their undergraduate houses will be undergoing extensive renovations. They may have day programs for people in the community, but that might be geared towards underprivileged kids. You can probably check with their community relations office to find out. Meanwhile, check other programs unrelated to Caltech. Here's a list:
