Hi, I just want to know, are there any summer programs out there for students who are interested in going pre-med/med school? If so what are they? Where are they? Can you give me a website for them or any info at all? Thanks.

there’s the national youth leadership forum on medicine which seems to be good. I got invited the past two years, but i cannot afford it. anyhow, here’s the website: [National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine (NYLF/MED) : Home](http://www.nylf.org/med/)

Thanks. Oh and if it makes any difference I’m an international.

Not that it is entirely related, but you do know that it is going to be a very uphill climb for you all the way, right? Is there any way you could become a US permanent resident?

Hi! I attended NYLF (see first response). It was by far one of the best experiences of my life. There was a lot of organization and introduction to the medical field. It also truly showed me that I want to be a doctor someday.
This summer I’m going to attend the Pre-Medical Program at Brown (I hear they’re more like classes) but I have heard equally good things about this program. Hope this helps, good luck!
