Summer Programs for Low GPAs?

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a summer programs that take low GPA but highly motivated kids. Like Im talking in the 3.2-3.4 range. Is such thing a reality? I wanted a research based program. Any of you get in to a research program with low stats. Any programs? I'm open to various options so location doesn't matter.

Thank You
