I'm looking for a program that focuses on creative writing, journalism, history or anthropology. I am a high school junior, so I can't afford to be a way for the whole summer (I hope to do an internship and volunteer work, so a camp that lasts longer than a week or two would not be too feasible). It would need to be in the Mid-Atlantic area and not cost more than a few hundred dollars (unless they are generous with scholarships, but from what I've heard most summer programs require you to make less than $40,000 which wouldn't apply). Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

Fairly new program for hs juniors, most expenses covered, 2 weeks in DC learning about US history. I have only read about it - for more information you may be able to find others on this board who have attended!

Check out this thread for a list of creative writing programs and some insight from those who’ve attended.

Any other programs for history??
