I am just entering high school in the fall of 2012 and I wish to know of any fun and exciting summer research programs. Are there any summer research programs that you would recommend for an entering high school freshmen?</p>

<p>There are very few research programs available until you are a rising junior, and then only a couple (most are looking for rising seniors). (Assume you mean science research). But if you live anywhere near a college or university, you could look into volunteering in a lab for the summer. It would position you well for some of those formal programs in the future if you have some lab experience.</p>
