<p>Like the title says, I've having a hard time deciding which summer programs, if any, I should attend. Between the most popular ones, EPGY, CTY, etc. are any of them worth the time and money? Any input is appreciated!</p>
<p>CTY, EPGY, Brown, and the like are good for exploring subjects, but are generally of little worth in the college admissions process (none are terribly selective, and you have to pay a good deal at most, assuming no finaid). If you’re in freshman/sophomore/middle school, they’re good stuff to do in the summer, but you can probably get more by taking college classes and/or working as a junior or senior.</p>
