summer programs start late

<p>Hi everyone!
Do you know about any summer programs that starts from late in July? Im an international student and my school usually starts its summer vacation from July 23rd or 24th..its pretty later than American schools'. I've been trying to find a good program on the Internet, but couldn't find any. So if you have any ideas, let me know!
Also, since I'm not a native speaker of English, its kind of hard to participate in credit programs. I'd like to atted an academic camp which is flexible with international student's proficiency in English.</p>

<p>Duke Youth Programs has several camps in July for high school students.</p>

<p>Thanks for your reply, khufu! yea, I just saw several programs on Duke’s website and they seemed good, but all of them start before my summer vacation start. I guess it can be hard to find a good program… but anyway,thanks!</p>

<p>Hi UKgirl! really? I think Boston University and George Washington University offer some programs start from 22nd July.</p>

<p>Try Brown - expensive, not sure of the quality, but a lot of variety and timings throughout the summer. We have the same problem with late summer vacation, but found a couple of programs that start mid-July (Carleton Summer Science & WPI Frontiers, Columbia, too, but expensive). I noticed some of the programs were ok with people coming in on a tourist visa, but I think it was Carleton that insisted on US citizens/residents. Good luck :-)</p>
