Summer programs to improve chances?

I'm currently a junior in high school, and have a summer left to do all i can to improve my chances at getting into a good college. So i was wondering what are some good programs, internships, etc. that i could do that would most benefit my college chances. I was also wondering doing which would help the most, meaning would it be an internship, special program, helping out in the community like working at the library, etc.?

I was also wondering how my past summer activities would help out for college: 2 years of Summer league school waterpolo team, 2 years of tzu-chi (religious community service organization) where i'm co-editor of their newsletter, summer key club.

I think you're asking us the wrong question. What you should be asking is not to us, but to yourself: "What do I WANT to do this summer?"

Do things that interest you. If this means taking a class at a university level, do that. If this means doing something related to athletics, do that. If this means something theatre-related, do that. If you do anything that interests you, you will be a happier person. When you put these things on your resume, it'll make you look more rounded. This is far more important than doing something to impress colleges. Do whatever you want to do, try your best, and it will be a rewarding experience.
