<p>I did Duke TIP, Pre-Collegiate NIAHD Colonial History at William and Mary, and my home state's Governor's Scholars Program. I was accepted.</p>

<p>Daughter of a good friend did a summer week at Cornell's Women in Engineering after sophomore year (and some sports camps); and five weeks at Barnard College after junior year with two courses in social and political history of the 50's and 60's. The latter was in addition to team practices for Empire State Games in August, which apparently limited her summer academic options. Accepted (not a recruited athlete)</p>
