<p>What kind of programs do Stanford and other top colleges offer during the summer?
I won't be able to do any this summer because my schedule is already packed, but I'm hoping to get involved in at least one next summer, so anything that is open to rising tenth-twelfth graders would be great.
Two weeks or less would probably be the best, so anyone who has gone to one of these camps or knows about them please let me know.

<p>The only thing I know of that Stanford has for high school students is the High School Summer College, which is an 8-week residential program. Here’s the link:

<p>Just saw this, do you live on the West coast? Most of the programs I know of (excluding those offered at Stanford/Berkeley/Caltech) are on the East. I was looking at Pre-College programs in a few of the Ivy schools and they all cost a fortune. If you’re willing to pay that much, then the Harvard SSP is really good and surprisingly has a 60 - 70% admit rate. Summer @ Brown also has a lot of options for courses. Otherwise, I would just recommend finding a no-cost program, like TASP, RIS, or Simons (which is a lot easier to get into; you also get $1,000 at the end of the program, which is pretty enticing). I think I’m just going to take a college course at a local University this summer.</p>

For summer programs, there is a section in cc about it. Go to the top left button, discussion home, and then scroll down to the bottom of the page, and pick summer programs.</p>

<p>If you want more of a camp experience, rather than a precollege experience, you can look up some camps such as Digital Media Academy or ID tech camp or US Performing Arts camp, or others and attend that camp at the Stanford campus. </p>
