<p>My daughter has been admitted to the Stanford Summer Institute and to the Wellesley Pre-College Residential Program. Does anyone have any thoughts as to the which program is better and which will be viewed more favorably by college admissions officers?</p>

<p>The summer programs that adcoms view favorably: 1) have competitive admissions; and 2) are scholarship based (either for all participants or via FA for the candidate) and are not pay to play programs.</p>
