Summer quarter?

I just came across CalPoly in the beginning of December, and it seems like the perfect school for me. Obviously, I missed the fall deadline, so I was thinking about applying for the summer quarter so I can go there. I was just wandering what my chances are at being accepted into CalPoly during the summer, especially since i am an out of state student. Here are my stats:
4.0 gpa u/w at very tough (public) school
class ran 5/204
several honors throughout hs and 7 AP (6 of which are this year)
30 ACT
very good volunteering and ec, including 3 varsity sports for three years and 2 this year

I am applying for the biomedical engineering program. Any info would be extremely helpful!

P.S. if i do apply and do get into the summer session, does anyone know what that is like…is it oober boring with very few ppl of campus?

You won't have any problems getting in. From what I remember, enrolled engineering students for 06? had an avg 3.80 UC WEIGHTED gpa and 27 ACT (in-state) Look at Cal poly's "The Profile" for more specific information.
I think you also have a great shot at any of the UCs. good luck
