But the Hopkins 2011 Orientation website posts the [Freshman Book Read letter](http://www.jhuorientation.org/freshman_book_read.php), which says that incoming freshmen are being asked to read The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.

Edited to add: Well, maybe I need to say “Never mind!” Although the letter is on the 2011 Orientation website, I just noticed it is dated July 1, 2010, so maybe the freshmen read that book last summer.

Sounds like the JHU Orientation website is more official. I’ll switch the book.

^^^ Sorry, I may have posted too quickly. I just edited my post to say that the Henrietta Lacks book might have been from last summer. Although the Freshman Book Read letter is posted on Hopkins’ 2011 Orientation website, I noticed – after initially posting here – that the letter is dated July, 2010.

Thanks SodiumFree, I switched it again. July 2010 is definitely outdated.
