Summer Reading Tips

What tips do you guys have for summer reading? I have like 4 books to read!!! I should probably buy them soon and start reading.

Does anyone know of any good places to buy books for cheap and that has cheap shipping? The only ones that I know of are:

Half.com
Amazon.com

Can anyone please give me other places and reading tips? Thanks

Do you have Half-Priced Books where you live??

Gently-used second-hand stuff. Including music and movies, actually.

If you're reading a textbook, take notes as you go along. That way you don't have to reread the textbook the night before the test.

I have four books, and they are over 1200 in any format (even 10pt font!) anywayy, I bought them on overstock, which I don't reccomend-because they are a little shady and aren't good with shipping (you can't track your item, etc) and aren't that much of a savings. If you're waiting 4 weeks, it doesn't really matter, right? Luckily, I live in a highly populated area and I ordered as soon as I got the list two weeks ago, and I just got the books.

I usually NEVER buy books-but I'm planning on writing in the margins, highlighting, etc, so I won't have to reread (rereading = death! at least to me; some people enjoy it I guess)...I also take notes in a notebook, and then type them up, then study. My school has a test the day before the first day of classes, so yeah...

ummm... go to the library if you don't plan on writing in the books.
library = free (if you return on time)

What books does everybody have to read? I have to read The Dead, Song of Solomon and Atonement.

u should buy your own books online..i would not reccomend amazon. com because its way overpriced and takes forever to ship...u need to buy ur own books so you can make important notes

Sometimes you can purchase used books from your nearby university library for very little money.

I have four books and a few chapters from a textbook. :[ Amazon.com/ebay are great; how do you annotate nonfiction books? I have no idea what to do with Omnivore's Dilemma.
