it doesnt really matter if you don't read the assigned readings does it?
because i really cbf re-reading gaytsby again.

"cbf"?

And is that a typo or an insult?

I didn't read it..didn't write the paper..didn't go to the discussions. Our 9 day (dis)orientation week drinking binge was far more important.

good to know!

No, seriously, what does "cbf" mean?

it means "cant be ****ed"

hey spanks yur the kind of person id like to meet at cornell lol forget about summer reading haha

haha, thanks, you'll probably meet plenty of people like me...I know I did.

spanks, did a lot of people not do it or just a couple kids.

Be aware! Some of the professors do grade the writing assignment!

That's kind of annoying...the class website that it might be used as an "evaluation," but not be graded.

my year, almost everyone read it. i think i might have met one person who said they didn't. then again, our book was a bit more controversial and "did you hate that book or what" became a popular conversation starter.

i'd say read the book, think of something clever to say about it, and say it at the group discussion. it'll be your first "college type" discussion, and you'll like hearing yourself talk.
