Summer Reading

I have two things I want the mass opinion on.

A. I have 4 book I HAVE to read for school, I haven't started yet, should I start now or wait until school is closer?

B. Is listening to an audiobook of a summer reading book a bad idea? I'm a pretty passive reader as it is. I plan on taking notes while I listen to make up for the fact that I'm not really reading the book.

Thought, opinions?

Have you thought about taking notes while you read? Underlining passages you like, making notes?

I suppose this depends on the type of reading you have to do.

Well all of the books are fiction novels. I'm assuming it's just reading so you know what happens, who the main characters are and the important details.

Since they are fiction works, it'll be much easier to underline things you find interesting - lines, paragraphs, et cetera.

If something you read is beautiful, underline it!
