<p>No knocking, but my best friend read the book already and she said that it was boring and that guy is an idiot… and we see pretty eye-to-eye on things. But yeah… I have to read it within a week. So we’ll see… I’m not looking forward to my quiz on that. XD</p>
I wonder why she found Foster to be an idiot! He was extremely illuminating and a very funny narrator all throughout the book. Here’s hoping that your opinion of Foster strays from that of your friend.</p>
<p>I just finished reading The Picture of Dorian Gray, Kidnapped, and Siddhartha as my summer reading for Sophomore Lit.
I really liked Kidnapped, like Dorian Gray, and thought Siddhartha to be just okay.</p>
I think the ending is good. That does not mean I agree with the actions of the character, nor do I find it a happy ending, but it seems realistic, I grasp his feelings, and it just seems to weave the story and message together well.</p>
<p>But glad to hear that you liked the book, overall.</p>
