<p>it'll take a few days to get a reply. You'll actually get like 3 mailings all about the same thing from UIUC. you're actually supposed to confirm your registration online and use your NetID.</p>

<p>a week i believe before hand.THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE, but in my opinion just confirm it now or asap. don't procrastinate. If you're definitely going to UIUC just sign up, you can get a refund.</p>
