Hey CC, I have a couple questions about research internships with professors.
A lot of people here have said that you could email one of the professors who teaches your field of interest at a local university.
But I can’t locate their directory?
Also, what should we write in the email?
Sorry if there’s another thread that has the same topic!
bump! it would be great if someone helped me out!
You would find the department’s website (biology, chemistry, etc.) and somewhere on it there would be a link to “Faculty” or “People.”
Simple cover letter formula:
Dear X,
Hook line and introduction for P1.
Discuss your interest in the field and position for P2.
Discuss what you can bring to the table in P3.
Attach your resume and references to the email.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
XXXX
