<p>Applicants must be US citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card).
Students must have completed one of the following courses or course sequences before the summer: Organic Chemistry sequence, Biochemistry sequence, Thermodynamics or Statics.</p>

<p>All participants receive a stipend, free housing, food allowance and travel expenses.</p>

<p>Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.</p>

<p>Neither the University of South Alabama nor the National Science Foundation can provide health insurance to participants in the program. All participants are fully responsible for their own health insurance coverage.
Accepted students are required to adhere to all policies of the University of South Alabama Student Handbook (The Lowdown) and Residence Life Handbook</p>
