What do you plan to accomplish this summer? Hopefully I can be productive this summer..

For me:
-Learn excel inside and out
-Learn python
-Contribute to open-source projects
-Donate time as a tutor at lib or food pantry
-Go for a run every other morning
-Probably late to find a summer job but I'll still try

-Learn French
-Learn German
-Study more Calc so I don’t die for maths in the fall
-Running every day, riding my horse three times a week
-Hopefully get a paid internship from my sister dearest.
-Sleep (lol, not gonna happen)

And make sure that my social life stays hilarious.

Ace my two summer classes
Get a life
Avoid dying from boredom

First one will probably happen.

Get an A in my summer course
Travel a bit
Get a job maybe? I reallly want one but haven’t heard back from any yet -.-
Get my wisdom teeth removed finally!
Write a whole lot more and read

I have some fun and serious things I want to do this summer:

Keep volunteering, possibly look into other volunteer opportunities
Complete review of Algebra I and Algebra II (Sadly, this is my first priority this summer. My math skills are dismal.)
Take practice GRE
Start studying French again
Reread Harry Potter series
Read Hermione Lee’s biography of Virginia Woolf
Visit family and friends I don’t often see
Get my wisdom teeth removed

-Work out for an hour a day
-Volunteer excessively if I can’t find a job (which is, unfortunately, a totally real possibility:/)
-Not sit on my butt and watch food network.
-Practice German & French:)

Wow, so many people are taking French! I can’t decide if I want to learn French or Spanish this summer.

Once you learn how the verb tenses and grammar work, it’s really easy to learn the two of them (french and spanish) concurrently.

I’ve studied spanish enough to the point where I talk in pidgin french with my friends, and they supply the words and grammar rules/verb conjugations I don’t know. It works well.

-work on my japanese
-help my family out

-Complete Automata and Machine Learning on Coursera satisfactorily
-Teach myself linear algebra
-Practice my Spanish
-Get at least two programming projects to polished, releasable condition
-Earn at least $1000
-Do some running
-Improve my skills with bow and tomahawk

Might be a tad optimistic, but we’ll see how it goes.
