I got a brochure in the mail about the High School Summer Scholars Program. Is anyone else looking into going to this this summer?

Yep. And I can tell ya, it is EXTREMELY competitive. I am just gonna give it a shot. Who knows? :) Good luck.

HSSSP is not that competitive at all. I think everyone from my school who applied (5-7?) last year got in. It's like most other college summer programs - have a decent app and be willing to cough up the cash.

Goldentime: Does your view - easy to get in - apply to the architecture summer program too?

I don't know about the architecture program.

I LOVED HSSP - PM me with your AIM SN if you wanna know more specifics. They accept approximately 50% of applicants.

for which specific program? cus i applied to the biology one

I'm just talking about the high school summer scholars program, which offers about 35 or so different classes you can take in many intro subjects. I know there are other programs too, including Architecture which actually was in the next dorm over during HSSP.

sorry,

I thought we were talking about Summer Scholars Program in Biology and Biomedical Research. Now that is competitive.
