Summer school at community college question

I'm taking one course this summer and uci says the deadline for sending in grades is september 15th. Is it possible that I can send it say sophomore year or whenever I feel like I need the extra GE credit? I was wondering since there is a deadline...

it’d be nice to explain your situation a little. I’m assuming you’re an incoming freshmen.
if that’s the case, the sept 15 deadline is more of a deadline for submitting transcripts and what not that will match what you self-reported when you applied.

that being said, yes, you can bring in a new transcript of your JC class(es) whenever you want and apply the credits. note: until you actually bring the transcript in (and get it processed), it won’t count on your official uci classes- therefore they may effect your enrollment (prerequisites and # of credits=>enrollment window). if the prereq is a problem though, you can typically bring in an unofficial transcript and have the administration waive you.

I’m an incoming freshmen and we never self-reported summer 2009 grades or the course. The class is just general psychology. I just took it for fun…and credit I guess. haha. I know a B isn’t a bad grade, but it was an easy class and I was just super lazy and haven’t decided if I should turn it in because that class is an easy A.

grades from a JC will not effect your GPA at UCI.
