i havent failed anythign therefore i am not required to go to summer school buti was interested in taking some classes over the summer such as art or something else.just for the hell of it.to get some extra credits.but will this help my college application in any way?just having an extra credit i got from summer school?or would it be a waste of money?

If it’s part of the academic curriculum, then yes, it’d help your college application because you would have more units. The summer program at my school is free. If you’re talking about money, I’m assuming you mean community college classes. Those would definitely help, it’s equivalent to an AP class(I think)

see in my school system they charge you 50 dollars per each semester you take in summer school.so it would be 100 dollars for one credit.and no i dont mean communitiy college.just regular high school classes.like art, keyboarding and electives like that.

Take them at a community college if you can - it will give you experience and look a lot better on your app. Not to mention the credits..
