Summer School Question

Does anyone know if you can take courses at a CSU during the summer and transfer them to the UC?

why wouldn’t you just take them at a community college and save hundreds of dollars?

Unfortunately I cant find a single JC that offers Linear Algebra :/.

doesn’t pcc offer it? thought they did…?

I just checked and pcc did offer linear algebra last summer, but there was just one class offered.

and do u need 2 classes for some reason?

Probably aren’t offering it for summer because of the budget cuts. Man…:/

Im not familiar with PCC at all. I checked out Moorpark, Pierce, College of the Canyons, Mission, and even Santa Monica and none offered it. CSUN didnt even offer it this year. I dont need to take 2 summer school courses, but I wanted to take intro to macro econ caz I may wanna pick up an econ minor or double major if possible, so I want to get a feel for the class before I transfer.

you might need two open classes, just in case one gets filled…PCC is over-crowded
you have better chances of actually being able to add the class, obviously?

Yes courses may be taken at a CSU campus during the summer. However, unlike the California Community Colleges where you have the assist.org site to determine if a course is UC transferable there is no such guarantee that a course from a CSU will be UC transferable.
