Summer School/Transfer Equivalency question

Hey Guys-

I've heard that summer school is much easier than regular classes, and that it is quite advantageous to attend and get some hard classes out of the way. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Also-

I'm thinking about going to summer school at another college(outside of NC) and having the credits transfer back. Does anyone know if the grade that you get in that course counts towards your GPA?

Thanks in advance.

GPA doesn’t transfer.

Make sure to check transfer equivalencies:https://www.unc.edu/sis/adm/xfereq.html

For NC community colleges: https://www.unc.edu/sis/adm/xfereq.html

NC community colleges are probably cheaper (assuming you’re instate) because summer students don’t always qualify for aid. I also believe you could start carolina in the summer if you wanted to.
