<p>Hi, I currently go to a Catholic College Prep School in houston called Strake Jesuit. It is indeed a very hard school and often times my grades have not been where I really want them to be. They have this interesting summer school option where your grade for a limit of two classes per summer, so long as it is above an F before summer school starts, can be replaced with even an A by simply going to Summer School and retaking the course. I have done this for two years now and am about to do it my Junior Year summer. The summer school program has indeed drastically improved my GPA, but the issue is that on my Transcript the school puts a little asterisk next to each class I went to summer school for, but does not show the original grade before summer school at all. Does this drastically effect my chances for Admission to some Colleges? BTW my GPA should be around a 3.75 by the end of first semester Senior Year</p>
