hello , this is a question for students in UT engineering at the moment?
I’m going to be a transfer student into engineering hopefully in the fall into ECE , and I’m currently taking Engineering Physics 1 and Calc 2. Is it worth taking Engineering Physics 2 over summer at a community college or will it be better education and worth it taking at UT , regardless I’m CAP so i will be at UT in the fall
My son says the rumor is that Physics II is extremely difficult at UT Austin and that if at all possible you should plan to take it at local community college over the summer. My son is already at UT in ECE (not CAP or transfer) and that is his plan. We live in Dallas.
My son (in ECE) also said that Physics II is a weed out class at UT. Many take it at a local community college in summer. He had an internship his freshman year so could not take it over the summer. It was a tough class at UT, but he did fine as he is a strong math student.
