I would probably cry no matter what result I get. It would be so heartbreaking if I get rejected or waitlisted because that means all I can do for the summer is continue my research at the local university. I’ve spent so much effort on this application(and I’m sure all of you are the same), let’s just hope for the best 
An unrelated question: Does anyone know how to get my thing posted in College Confidential w/o “being approved?” It always takes 2 days for my post to actually show up and I look really awkward among the discussions.

Guys I really want to know my chances of getting in. I’m a junior and I haven’t done any research before but I’ve taken advantage of the science classes I have. I’ve spent a lot of my time engineering in FIRST FTC robotics and wrote about that in some of my essays. I’m applying to biochem.

you know your stats are good… you have perfect scores on near everything. At this point theres just waiting!
My stats aren’t all that good (1530 SAT, 1470 PSAT, and 740 subject on chem). I’ve done research though and talked about it in my essays. Do I have a chance despite my low scores? Applying to biochem.
your scores aren’t low! those are great scores on all parts and research will be helpful too i’m sure
My scores are a 1300 on the PSAT this year, 1220 last year. I also included for some weird reason that I got a 3 on AP Bio last year. My GPA is a 3.26/3.8. I doubt I’ll get in. I do think, though, that I had strong essays and recommendations.
I applied for Astrophysics, btw.
They prob care more about your passion and your involvement with your ECs than your test scores, as the test scores only show a small bit of who you really are…
