astrophysics @User19205234
Thank you!! @florencewelch666 Congrats to all who applied! @frazzledazzle I’m gonna be at NM Tech!
I got into Biochem! wow I was not expecting that but I can’t do it cause I already committed to another program (I didn’t think I would even have to consider this cause I didn’t think I could get in) oh well. It’s nice to see though that I might have a chance for college admissions if I got into this hahaha
@frazzledazzle Congrats, feel free to ask questions if you have any coz I don’t know much about the other campus
Any sophomore got in? If so, please share your stat
Accepted to CUB!!
@schrodingersowl Great! Can’t wait to see you there!
Accepted to New Mexico Tech!!
ahh waitlisted… :,)
haha it’s official ive been rejected from every single program i’ve applied to. Not even a waitlist. I emailed 50 college professors and have gotten 0 responses. I didn’t get into my safety program. Now i have nowhere to go for the summer and no research hook for college. At least I’m getting used to the rejections now so i’ll be ready next march!
How big is the alternate list for Astrophysics?
@skatergirl27 I also got rejected from all programs I applied to. It’s fine, we’ll find out other ways to spend the summer
@SirLegolot Same!
Rejected.
Congrats to those who got in! Have fun!
@allymhong was it for the biochem or the astrophysics?
@Sinphirho2 Just to let to know I’m an international and I’m on the alternate list for Astrophysics.
Rejected as a sophomore for biochem. Better luck next year lol… I hope I get off the waitlist for SSTP.
When are alternates usually notified of updated admission status? For those who were accepted, what is the deadline to commit to the program?
@polymerase26 When I contacted Mr. Bowdon, he told me that there’s not a specific date when the status might change. But if and when it does, they’ll email you right away.
@frazzledazzle @schrodingersowl I can’t wait to meet you guys at CUB!!!
If you’ve got the email, there should be a link to the page that gives further instructions as well as the participant handbook. Expect to be giddy with glee for the next several days!
