I am a junior and I applied for astrophysics.
@methanoicacid I’m fairly sure that they consider applications independently, but in regards to international students, they do limit admissions to a preset quota (which obviously doesn’t concern you). You should be fine.
@SnowyP I’m sorry, my post probably came off as extremely braggadocious. I’m a junior and misunderstood what you meant by “grades.” Good luck!
I am a junior and applied for astrophysics. I’m really hoping decisions come out before April 12 because I need to commit to another program by then.
@methanoicacid COSMOS as well? Which school and what cluster?
@Xiadongdong69 thanks !
@ichen21 Nope, not COSMOS (I already went there a few years ago)
Oh my bad, COSMOS is also the 12th.
Uc Davis cluster 8 for me, I hope so decisions come out soon
when do results come out?
@middles18 I guess not today
Do they send out an email when results get released or do you have to check the website?
Admission decisions will be shown on the website and simultaneously emailed about mid-April for students in the US.
How many sophomores usually get accepted to astrophysics?
Have they finished all the confirmation processes with international applicants by now? I got on the alternate list but no news yet. Results for intl. students should theoretically come out a month earlier than US students though. Any international student here who got picked from the alternate list?
Anyone know when decisions are expected to come out? They started coming out at about 9 a.m on April 9th last year.
Result is out
Just for international though?
US results are out
