<p>I think I'm pretty good on my physics, but I'm worried about Calc. Right now I'm only in pre-calculus. And I have pretty much no experience with programming (I'm taking comp sci next year). Then again, I only really have to worry about this if I get in, that's the first step.</p>
<p>sigh..i have a 5 in comp sci, calc bc right now, physics..
..if only i got in ! 2 more weeks to wait for a decision!</p>
<p>but for all you guys out there: I recommend Giancoli's physics to start; it's a good book.</p>
<p>I am currently taking a Physics B Class and doing relatively well. I have a firm grasp of Calculus, and am self studying for the Physics C test. Mechanics seems manageable, but I should start studying hard for E+M ha ha.</p>

For my SAT test scores and such, I used a collegeboard print out which is not really official (it actually has NOT AN OFFICIAL SCORE REPORT written across the entire printout...<em>_</em>)? Will they accept it?</p>

<p>Arrgh. I still haven't recovered from the 4 recommendation thing. Mr. Bowdon said he recieved it, but he wouldn't tell me whether they'd consider it or not (or whether it'd hurt me). If I asked again, he might be annoyed, so I didn't...</p>
<p>Oh by the way, I just found out I won the Caltech Signature Award. Is it too late to inform SSP? If not, how do I tell them?</p>
<p>Congratulations, QuantumArbiter! I was also wondering about updates - I recently made USNCO, but don't know how to put it. Also, QuantumArbiter, how did your school find out about the nomination process for the caltech sig.award? I don't think our school does that.</p>

I just got this freakishly huge envelop in school that had the award, a modified periodic table of elements, and a book abt the physics of snowflakes...my counselor got it at first.</p>
<p>Oh about the nomination process....not sure, my counselor simply emailed the sig award mastermind and chose the best math/schience student. Teachers picked me and the counselor just nominated me i guess...</p>

I'm doing really well in Honors Physics I right now, too ... mostly I'm worried about Calculus since I'm only in PreCal right now! (but yeah, I got in without it, for those of you who were wondering) I suppose I'll have to do some studying. Bleh.</p>
