Summer Science Program (SSP) 2009

i think in ojai, its soccer, but in socorro, its volleyball.

other than that, there isn’t any competition between the two. (i think)

oh sickkk theres a match? I;m totally pumped!!

im trying to study physics before i go there…i hope it helps…

hoping for loads of help from TAs and peers…:frowning: ill be the stupid one there anyway

anyway see you there!

wait oh ****, is it soccer in ojai? then im not as pumped…

At Ojai, they didn’t have it last year because of the special 50th anniversary thing, but there usually is an alumni softball game. Ojai’s field is most fun for ultimate frisbee.

ultimate frisbee yay!
do we have to bring our own gloves for soft ball? i left them at school…

Ultimate ftw!

Does anyone know if it is played seriously enough that people bring cleats there?

what sports can you play at socorro during free time?

pretty much any sport you want…?

you have access to the gym

Did any alumni here do, or know someone who did an extended project after SSP, that was sent to Siemens/Intel? If so, how does one find an extended project? And, would 3 months (August, September, October) be sufficient time to produce an extension of the project that could be sent to such competitions? Thanks!

this might be stupid but do we need to bring the equipment for any sport that we would want to play, or is that available somewhere?

hey Ojai’s better since our food is better we don’t need ppl to maintain our telescope HA!

oh youre cool

yup I know…

i have 1065 more posts than you
