But it comes down to the fact that SATs (Is and IIs)don't say anything about who you are or what type of person you are. And thus, they won't make or break your life. Some people are really happy to be getting 500s or 600s on their SATs (Is and IIs) If you think that a 700 is going to ruin your chances of getting into college, which therefore ruins any change of getting a job at any place but Burger King, which dooms you to an early death because of the junk that'll build up in your veins from eating fried food for years and years on end... then you're wrong. Because you're all really bright people. So don't worry.

And on the subject of schools... my school doesn't offer AP Physics C (and sometimes not B either)... or AP Calculus BC... we have a great football team though! :)

very true. i have a friend who only gets average scores on her standardized tests... but she's ranked #1 in our class and gets insanely high grades. so i'm pretty sure she won't be flipping burgers after high school.

i envy all of you... being able to take so many AP classes. my school is like shadowdancer's. we don't have AP Physics C or AP Calculus BC either. and then we can't even take AP Physics B and AP Calculus AB until senior year! and we don't even have a football team =(

yeah my school's not that great. but i don't mind because since it's such a small school, i can really stand out. if i was at a big public school, i wouldn't make any sports teams or get elected to any leadership positions.

so yeah, i wonder how many people going to SSP also haven't taken AP Physics and/or AP Calculus?

On another note, I've just finished watching "Spirited Away." Undescribable...it's really a super-creative-imaginative kind of movie. I'm still scratching my head trying to piece together the themes and stuff. Anyone else seen this? :D

Matt...my teachers are professors yeah. Just don't say that out loud lol shhhh. More at SSP ;).

I haven't taken AP Physics. Quite frankly, Physics is my worse (and the one I like least) subject out of the three sciences...haha and yet I'm signed up for SSP =p

Who's hyped up (or more worried...like me) about tomorrow's SAT scores?! I'm waiting on Chem, 2C, and USH.

I'm worried about my SAT II scores as well, oasis. (really worried)

Math IIc (ughhh, a retake!) and World History, yay!
:D

haha hvae to take Chem, Physics, and US HIstory Sat..
Boo to the first two...sighhhh.

Spirited Away is amazing, Jeremy. I'm glad i didn't have to make you watch it at SSP, as I will make you watch the Kobe 81 game :P hehe jk jk.

It may seem a bit looserish, but I've been planning on the stuff I want to bring already. like, i'm bringing my speakers, the kobe 81 point game on dvd, and (hopefully) a laptop (even though they said they wouldn't recommend it or what not - i have hw and stuff i need to do...) ahhh. i'm terribly excited....

after this sat...i can actually look FORWARD to it, instead of kinda dreading it because its after tests :)

Spirited Away.... no words can do that movie justice.

Though my favorite Miyazaki film is actually Totoro, because that was the first one I ever saw, and I watched it every day for a long time when I was like... 4. Anyway, it reminds me of my childhood and its really just an amazing movie too.

raises hand I haven't taken AP physics.... I'm in just normal honors physics though, because its required to take honors before you take AP for all sciences. (They figured out that kids do better on AP tests if its their second year learning the material... and its true too) In theory, you're not allowed to take any AP sciences before your senior year (which explains why they often don't get enough students to have a class) but I went and begged my honors chemistry teacher (who also teaches AP) to let me into her AP class this year.

But I did take AP Calculus AB (one of only 3 juniors).

Tomorow I get my USH and Chem scores... crosses fingers

Out of bio, chem, and physics, I think physics is my favorite, mainly because there's less memorizing. I'm a tad squeamish, and I always faint, like no kidding, every time, when we dissected stuff in bio. It got to be the most awful class joke, "Who's turn is it to catch Hannah when she faints during lab today?"

Ahra...Kobe...that sounds like a sushi bar down the road from my school. Oh wait...IT IS.

Lol. Don't hurt me Ahra hahaha...

Anyways, I'm contemplating whether or not I should bring my laptop. It has Spirited Away, Scary Movie 4 (so-so quality), Scary Movie 3, Battle Royale 2 (which is teh suck compared to 1...which I have on DVD), and many more movies. I also have Asian music...which Ahra probably likes :).

I also understand there won't be time to watch every single movie we want. But then again...I could be wrong.

I'm not really a big fan of soda just for its own sake, but when I'm in a situation where I can't get coffee, or the only coffee I can get is really weak, there's nothing like Mountain Dew for a real caffeine rush. Oh and I like Dr. Pepper too. And Sprite is good for movie theatres (because it doesn't stain if I spill it all over.)

Actually, I think my favorite drink is ice tea... home brewed southern style... REALLY REALLY strong, and REALLY REALLY sweet. It just wakes you right up.

haha or water. Thats good too.

Just looking at Orange soda makes my eyes hurt. And Grape soda reminds me of cough medicine too much.
