I was wondering what everyone suggests to take during summer as far as classes. I wanted to do a math course or something because I feel like that is my worst subject and I would be able to do better if it was one of my only focuses but what does everyone else think? Thanks!

most freshmans do a basic math/english but if you already have credit in this take an easy class such as marriage and family, since it suffices for a Gen-Ed credit.

Well I wont know if I have an english credit untill I pass my Ap Lit exam and get the score back in July. My teacher mentioned today that I might be better off taking math during the fall semester but I still think I want to take it during summer.

Hey i'm in the same boat, ill be waiting for my ap eng lit scores. I plan to take a hard math class (ie calc) to simply get it knocked out (won't be takin stats cuz of AP stats, hopefully).

In terms of summer you pick your classes with your soon to be academic counselor during summer b preview/orientation.

Ruo, calc is a summer c class, try picking another class. I think the only calc that is offered A/B is calc 3. You can check here to see whats offered summer B, http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc/

Ruo.....yea during preview you pick your summer B/fall classes. If course you can change it if a problem arises or if you realize you have credit for it already. I changed a class but it was during drop/add so I don't know if you have to wait until then or if you can do it anytime...but most likely you have to wait until drop/add

You can change it anytime after you start registering for classes. When drop/add comes around they put you on a timer on when you can change. For example, if drop/add was Jan 1-7 then you would get some random time to start between Jan 1-3.
