Summer Semester credit hours?

I'll be attending GT in the fall. My junior and senior years of high school, I was dual enrolled with a local college (through the ACCEL program if any of you guys know what that is). I graduated high school with 48 college credits. So, if all of those transfer to GT (which I think only 45 will), I'll enter as half way through my sophomore year. In order to avoid a winter graduation, I was thinking about taking summer classes next year to make up the rest of the credits I need to even out. Does anyone know how many credits you can get in a summer semester? Is this even a good plan or am I totally wrong in thinking about this?

You can take as few or as many as you want. DS is taking 3 classes since I don’t want him to burn out however he could have taken more. It really is going to depend on whether the classes you want to take are offered in the summer and if they don’t have time conflicts.
