Future Eagle myself, CWJones411(have all badges, getting my project rolling right now)

Yeah, I'm an eagle myself, hopefully soon to be ranger (Ventures)...anybody know if there is a difference between the two on the application??

I am going to Session B. : ]

When did you hear word?

I got the email on February 21

I just found out about this board, its pretty sweet. Im going to session A recieved the email on Feb 21 as well. For the rest of y'all hang in there.

I went to summer seminar last year, and I heard in mid-February. This year, I'm going to BCT! BTW, take advantage of the chance to talk to cadets about anything USAFA-related. You'll be glad you did.

"Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence In All We Do"

I haven't heard anything from my ALO or from AFA yet about Summer Seminar, I don't want to assume anything, but it seems like it's been a while. Is anyone else still waiting for a yes or a no?

I havn't found out if I've been accepted yet either.

im still hanging in there

Still waiting

Hang in there guys (and gals). Sometimes things get sent late, or people back out and spaces open up a little late. And remember, your chances of going to USAFA are not shot if you don't go to Summer Seminar. Of the cadets currently at USAFA, less than 50% (45%, I think) went to Summer Seminar. So keep hoping!

also waiting

I'm waiting too.

The early acceptance emails that some received back in February said that packets would be sent out "the first week in April." Hopefully you'll all hear something very soon. Good luck!

My daughter received the Summer Seminar packet today! Good luck to all!

Well, I got mine today. To be honest, though, I don't really want to go. I was accepted to the West Point SLS, and I will definitely go to that. It seems like going to two seminars is a bit much, though. Especially since I went to an SAME engineering camp at USAFA last year.

My son received his summer seminar acceptance package today for session B!

Now, when (and IF) the Navy NASS package comes, he will have to decide between to two of them, as NASS session 3 is at the same time as AFASS B session. (School lets out late here - June 14th, so those are the only choices he has.

Even though USCGA AIM is his first choice, he wants to do all three. Maybe he can get out of school a week earlier if the NASS comes through?

I have heard that whichever one you attend first makes the biggest and best impression on these kids.

Hey, I got mine too! Can't wait to send this thing back in and go to SS!

I got mine today too! I got accepted into session B! I can't wait to go.
