do students from other UCs do summer sessions in berkeley?

what do you mean it will suck?
what do i do about financial aid? they're already charging my e-bill, so should i pay it first from my bank account? or wait?

I am thinking about 10 units in summer as well, spread out in 2 different sessions.
Session A (6 units):
IB 117 (Ethnobotany): 2 units (Not taking lab portion)
Italian studies R5B: 4 units

Session C (4 units):
MCB 102 (Biochemistry): 4 units

Is this too much to do in one summer? Anyone have advice for R&C classes in summer (is it an overload of reading? Not advisable with other courses?) Is Italian Studies R5B known as an “easy” A? Thanks.

Yes, students from other schools can and do summer sessions at Cal

Italian Studies isn’t as hard as English/Rhetoric but isn’t as easy as German or Scandinavian ing eneral.

Don’t forget that your finals for the Session A class will coincide with one of the MCB midterms, and MCB will be pretty challenging even though there are open note tests.

Thanks for the advice, stly. For Italian Studies R5B (this is the one I’m thinking about dropping), wouldn’t the final just be a final paper? I haven’t taken a composition course at Cal; I AP’d out of the A portion, so I am not sure how composition courses at Cal work. Any idea on the reading load for summer sessions?
