Summer Session... NOT

I live in San Diego, and SDCCD won't offer summer classes.
I need to take Differential Equations and CSE classes, such as Java & C++.

Does any of you taken classes at a UC campus (i.e: UCSD) as a non-UC student over the summer? I'm thinking about doing so since all the cc's around here don't have summer session or the classes I need.

These budget cuts are killing me..

Has*

can’t type anymore… lol

Not sure about UCs, but I know Cal States offer summer session at a quite high price per unit. I remember in 08 it was $150/ unit but check CSUSD, maybe they offer those classes.

yeah you can, but it’s super expensive =/

[Summer Session - UC San Diego](http://summersession.ucsd.edu/)

I’ll be full time at UCSD in both summer sessions.

I hope to be as well if I get admitted (hoping I didn’t make a mistake on my TAG). I hope I get in the second batch on the 9th so I can register as a UCSD student on the 11th. Otherwise, I will have to register on the 18th as a visitor and by that time classes may already be full. :/

Does anyone know if you can get financial aid for this summer at UCSD? Isn’t there something called a “second pell grant” for summer? I am also disappointed by SDCCD’s summer session cuts. I don’t need to take summer classes but I would like to take a couple.

Random, but I’ll be doing UCSD summer school too with my gf and best friend lol. Session 1.

I’ll probably be doing all of my summer sessions at UCR so that I can graduate on time without having to worry about extra housing costs for summer sessions at the other UC I decide to attend. I think its worth it taking 1 or 2 classes at a home UC with cash out of your pocket. Just save up! I’m just gonna use all of the extra cash from my Pell grant from this year.
