Summer session questions...

I'm gonna be a freshman and i will most likely do the summer session. So here are a few questions

Do you get to choose the dorm?

Do you get a meal plan and all that like the regular year?

How demanding is it? Are u studying most of the time or do u have a lot of free time cuz its only 2 classes?

Is it very popular? Do most ppl do it?

If u have free time, what kinds of things do ppl do around berkeley?

[Student Housing | Berkeley Summer Sessions](Student Housing | Berkeley Summer Sessions) - unit 2 or International house, there is a meal plan.

The classes are accelerated - the same material is covered over a full semester normally. For example, Bio 1A consists of 38 class sessions and plenty of time in between to read and study. In the summer it is taught in 30 sessions basically four days a week.

While a student might be taking 13 to 17 units a semester, during summer session about half that is comparable.

A fair number of Cal students stay around and take a course or two in summer. Maybe by the end of four years, you could say that ‘most’ have taken a summer course at least once.

Plenty to do in Berkeley and in nearby San Francisco.

bump bump bump
