summer session

I applied to UP and I'm so nervous about getting in! Penn state is my 1st choice and I checked the option for summer session. Does anyone know what GPA and SAT scores for summer? I have a 3.47 weighted and SAT 1710 so I'm hoping for summer at the leastt. They have said that they look at you for summer if you don't make fall semester, but is the gpa and sat that much different between the two?

We have the same stats, and I was wondering this as well. I could have posted that exact statement, we’re basically in the same boat. The stats are definately lower for it, but I also wonder how many people get turned away from summer session. Well, atleast they’re still considering us? :)

my s applied around 10/21 and still no word. According to Naviance, 7 of the 42 who applied in our NJ HS have been accepted so far. Stats for son:
ACT - 30
GPA 3.6
3 APs, 1 honor in senior yr, 2 honors in Junior year.
A few consistent quality EC’s

Going crazy waiting as this is first choice!

i think you guys should be fine i got for fall with a 3.6 and 1770 sat oos from nj. but then again my school has around 120 kids getting accepted to University Park each year. Goodluck i am sure you will be fine.

D has same exact weighted GPA (3.47) but a 2090 superscored SAT. Tons of ECs, 4 APs, 1st choice OOS from Boston area. Really worried about the GPA, we’ll all be thrilled if she gets in for either summer OR fall… chance me?

Just FYI- Penn State doesn’t super score. They just take the highest total score from one test date only.

Ok, yes, I recall that from the information session – best single sat 2050 then.
