<p>On average, how many units do people take over the summer? If I'm just going for Session C (June 21 to August 13), what would you consider too little and what would you consider too much?</p>

<p>Calculate the unit to week ratio you have over a normal semester/quarter, then do the same for your potential summer courses. </p>
<p>If the latter is greater, it’s going to be more work than normal; if it’s the same, it will be the same amount of work; if it’s less, it’s going to be less work than normal. I’m speaking in generalities of course. It also depends on how prepared you are for the material, the difficulty of course itself, the professor, etc.</p>
