what are some courses one should NOT take over the summer?

mm good question!

btw emmeline, was it you who took ls1 during the summer last year? could you tell me how it was with prof. thomas?

^funnyman did i dont know if he still posts here

what do you mean by this post??? every course is the same except more condensed. so its not what you take, its how much.

No, I didn't take LS1 last summer... I'm taking it right now with Gibson. (Btw did anyone realize Graffin is from Bad Religion? Soo cool...)

It means a LOT if you even CONSIDER taking LS classes over the summer because the amount of memorization required.

I'm considering taking part of the Physics 6 series over the summer... Good idea or no?

i plan on taking 6B. and either english 4W or econ 1/2 or any one of 10 other classes i need to take.

im planning to take physics 6a + one more class

yeah, I took LS1 last summer. It wasn't fun but since when is the LS series fun? :)

Also, I have two locations for my section for PHYSICS 6A -- I'm assuming the lecture will find out how it's split into those two classes later?

Emmeline, they split the classes up more or less in half according to alphabet for the discussions in physics over the summer. I took 6C last summer and it wasn't too bad along with LS3. LS3 was not overwhelming for me but then again, it was the only class I took during that particular session.

okay thanks ckings86.

when are payments due for sumemr?

im taking LS2 session A and Chem 14D session C. Should I do this?

does anybody know how financial aid works if we want to take classes in different sessions? like.. both session A and C?

cant add more than 19 units until winter grades available....

It's hard to choose either Reiber of Saxon ...

Are classes from Film and Television, such as Film TV 106A, easy?

Are you kidding me?

i am taking film 112 right now, it is easy, BUT time consuming, you have to attend class and class is 4 hours each b/c of screenings...

In our class there is also a lot of reading, about 3-6 articles a week.

Also, i dont know how the teacher grades yet, but you have to write essays, but most times, as this is not an english class, they dont grade too tought.
