Are there convenient places where students who live far from NYU and travel by air can store things over the summer, like TV's, winter clothes, microwave, etc? Surely students don't take everything home....

We've used Manhattan Mini Storage and were very satisfied with the service we received from them. http://www.manhattanministorage.com/ When you're at NYU, you can also ask if anyone knows about a student/grad owned/run storage service. I thought there was one, but am not sure of the name and if it still exists. If I find anything out about it, I'll post the info.

Thanks, nyumom. Do you know if Manhattan Mini Storage will pick up and move things for you?

According to their website, they do offer that service. They also have something called Conceirge service as well. Check the website - there are rates for pick up/delivery. There are also other storage companies in Manhattan - we're just familiar with this one. Also, we moved everything ourselves by car - not an easy task in the city. It would be a lot easier to get the pick-up/delivery if it's not too pricey. Again, once you're at NYU and you talk to other students, they'll be able to advise you of other companies that they've used and the best way to go about it.

Yes there is a company called campus storage, the website is [Campus Storage | College Storage | Student Storage | Direct Shipping and More!](http://www.campusstorage.com)
