I took the SAT twice first time i got 1370; 500WR, 410CR, 470M the second this may i took 1340; 480WR, 400CR, 460M, I did both without really studying.. I know this is a fail. This is pretty horrible actually because I'm going to be a senior next year. Apparently I'm going to study SAT this summer and take it again in October. How does one study for this because honestly I don't know. I have Princeton Review's Cracking the SAT, 11 Practice Tests (Princeton Review), Barron's Math Workbook, and Vocab Flashcards. Please I need help????

I got a 174 on my psat so i thought i would get the same on my sat. but i got a blue book and over spring break i took about 6 practice tests. after each practice test i reviewed the mistakes carefully. it was hell but it worked. i didn’t study any vocab because i didn’t have time, but the vocab killed me on the sat. STUDY THE VOCAB IF YOU HAVE TIME!! But know that a lot of the vocab is chance and luck. But by taking 6 practice tests i got my 174 up to a 2100.
If you find that the SAT isn’t good for you, sign up for the ACT. The ACT questions are easier, but the time limit makes it pretty hard. So definately try the ACT if the SAT isn’t good for you.

Hmm, your reply is pretty reasonable hell I was even thinking about ACT but I don’t know if I have time for that. Is it possible to study for both SAT & ACT or should I make up my mind about one only?
