Summer Study Program - Paris

<p>Hello,
We are considering the Summer Study Program in Paris for our daughter. This is the program that is found at Pre-College</a> Summer Programs | Summer Enrichment - Summer Study. It is a pre-college experience for those still in high school. Does anyone have any experience with this program? Sending my 16 (almost 17) year old over to Europe for 5 weeks is a huge decision. The program sounds terrific but I'd love to know if anyone has any experience or perspective on this program. Or, if you know of others who do that might be willing to share. </p>

<p>My daughter has traveled on a People to People trip before so the time away should not be an issue. This is a different type of trip though with older high school students and seems to be a lot more autonomy.</p>

<p>Why not ask the program for several (not one or two, but several) references - if you are able to contact past participants directly (or their parents) you may get a hold of some useful information.</p>

<p>Naturally, the company will likely give you references they feel comfortable with - i.e., they’re sure that they will be good references.</p>

<p>Still, talking person to person (or emailing, or whatever) with past participants or their parents will give you a better sense of the program.</p>
