Summer study student loan?

I was planning on studying abroad this summer, but not in a program through my university. Through my university it is nearly twice as expensive as what I'm planning to do. I was wondering where I could get a student loan to pay for the expenses I can't pay myself. I know it's been done before, but I don't know how or where to do it.

And don't say parents, jobs, etc. That's already crossed my mind, but the family is useless and only willing to cosign, and I can't juggle another job on top of my course work.

And, for academic reasons relating to my major, I HAVE to go this summer. I can't wait another year to save or else I would.
Thank you.

International study abroad loans are a great way to fund your study abroad. While scholarships and grants are gifts, study abroad loans must be repaid with interest. Nevertheless, you may want to consider taking out a loan if necessary. Remember, just like your education at your home school is an investment, your study abroad experience is an investment in your future with many benefits.
