Summer Sublet

Anyone looking to sublet their apartment this summer? D just received an offer for an internship midtown, most of the dorms are occupied. Please PM me if you are interested in subletting your apartment.

This was a thread started 3 weeks ago. I looked into it for my daughter but for us it was too expensive, but may be not for you.

Sometimes students post in NYU livejournal looking for someone to sublet their room or apartment. I just checked and don’t see anything listed at the moment, but here is the link if you want to keep an eye on it: [NYU People](http://community.livejournal.com/nyu/).

And there’s always Craigslist, as long as you are careful and do your due diligence. If it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably a scam. If you check the Craigslist Manhattan Housing listings in either the “Rooms/Shared” or “Sublets/Temporary” categories you might find something reasonable.
