I'm currently a college freshman and I'm looking for an intensive summer acting program. Any recommendations? :)

There are a couple of really remarkable Shakespeare/classical programs in England that hold auditions in the US.
RADA and BOCA both have programs, and I have heard wonderful things.

If you are in the nyc area the Stella Adler Studio of Acting has summer intensives in movement, Chekov, and Shakespeare that you coul audition for

The American Shakespeare Center is now offering a summer professional training program, new is this year. If it’s half as good as their youth program, it’ll be great!

[ASC - Professional Training Program 2010](http://www.americanshakespearecenter.com/v.php?pg=526)

I realized that I had written BOCA instead of BADA, sorry for the mix up.

My D is doing the same thing. She doesn’t want a program with h.s. students. She is looking at ACT in S.F.

I’ll be going to RADA’s Summer Shakespeare Intensive this summer from July 20th-August 13th. Anyone else??

I’m applying right now to Boston U Summer Theater Institute, UNCSA Summer Actor Training, and Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory. Had to make an audition tape for Rutgers. I was considering the American Shakespeare Center too, but Mom made me limit my apps to three, due to cost of applying. Anyone out there been to any of these?

Somebody my son communicated with through CC private messages when he was trying to decide between the Boston University BFA Acting program and another program had attended the BU summer theatre institute, and she raved on and on about how wonderful it was.

I know that’s third hand information, but maybe it counts for something, lol.
